Artist Residency

Studio 55 offers a residency programme for artists seeking dedicated time and space to develop new work within the unique light, landscape, and culture of Ibiza. The island has long been a magnet for creative spirits — painters, writers, musicians, and makers drawn by its quality of light, its ancient rhythms, and its spirit of freedom.

Residents are given access to studio space, accommodation support, and the opportunity to exhibit new work at Studio 55 at the conclusion of their stay. The programme is open to artists working in any medium — painting, sculpture, photography, film, textile, or interdisciplinary practice.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Residencies typically run for two to eight weeks, with flexible start dates throughout the year. We particularly welcome proposals that engage with the history, landscape, or cultural life of Ibiza.
